About Auckland Hospital Radio
Find out all about the station broadcasting to Bishop Auckland Hospital for over 30 years. The service was brought to Bishop Auckland Hospital in 1978 and we have had several homes since then, but we have gone from strength to strength during the past 30 years.

Welcome from our Chairman
Craig has been volunteering for Auckland Hospital Radio for nearly 18 years and has seen the station grow over that time. Its not all about the past though, Auckland Hospital Radio has some big plans and Craig is the one who has to implement them, find out what the future of AHR is.

Auckland Gold
Another first for Hospital Radio was the introduction of our second channel in 2003. Auckland Gold provides 24 hour a day speech content, drama, audiobooks and specialist content for the patients, staff and visitors to the hospital
